Terms and Conditions for Car Rental Services

Thank you for choosing our car rental services! We appreciate your trust in us. Please take a moment to review our updated terms and conditions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Rental Period and Pricing

  • Standard Rental: Our standard rental period is 12 hours per day.
  • 24-Hour Rental: For a full 24-hour rental, the rate will be double the standard 12-hour rate. A slight discount may apply depending on the car type.

Please note that you must make a token of commitment before the vehicle takes off.

Pricing Zones

Our rates are categorized based on three zones within Lagos:

  • Island Rates: This zone covers areas up to Ajah Bridge. Any destination beyond Ajah Bridge will incur an additional cost.
  • Mainland Rates: This applies to Ikeja and its surrounding areas, including but not limited to Magodo, Gbagada, and Surulere.
  • Outskirts Rates: This zone includes areas like Iyana-Ipaja, Ikorodu, Ikotun, and Epe axis.

Airport Transfers Terms & Conditions

  • Cancellations are not allowed within one hour of scheduled pick-up; no-shows are non-refundable.
  • Each booking includes a single airport pickup and drop-off. Additional trips on the same day are billed separately.
  • Bookings cover a 4-hour window. Extra hours incur additional fees.
  • Clients are responsible for airport tolls and parking fees.
  • No unscheduled stops are allowed. Such requests will be treated as a separate booking and charged accordingly.

Inter-State Terms & Conditions

  • For inter-city travels, vehicles are provided with a full tank, after which all refueling is the client’s responsibility.
  • Accommodation must be provided for drivers during out-of-town or 24-hour bookings.
  • Each booking includes 30 liters of fuel. If more fuel is needed during the trip, the client is responsible for additional fueling.
  • Clients must notify us and make payment in advance if an extension of the rental period is required.
  • Drivers are permitted to leave after rental expiration, provided they give notice via call or text.
  • For bookings exceeding three days, we may replace the chauffeur with another professional and verified driver to ensure safety and adequate rest periods.
  • Clients must notify us within 24 hours if an item is forgotten in our vehicle; after this period, Car Hire Lagos is not responsible for missing items.
  • Bookings involving travel beyond Lagos are considered full-day rentals. The rental ends upon return to Lagos.

Booking Duration and Overnight Policy

  • Standard bookings last 12 hours.
  • Overnight bookings end by 5:00 AM the next day, regardless of start time.
  • Daily rentals end at 10:00 PM; services beyond this time are billed as extra hours.

Security Personnel (MOPOL)

  • Lagos State: The rate for one MOPOL within Lagos State is ₦25,000.
  • Inter-State: We also provide Inter-State services & travel. The rate for one MOPOL is ₦45,000.

Cancellation and Refunds Policy

  • If the vehicle arrives at your designated location and you choose to cancel for any reason, you will be entitled to a 90% refund of the rental fee.

Self-Drive Rentals Terms & Conditions

  • Available for select vehicles only. Required documentation must be submitted for eligibility verification.
  • Minor Repairs: Renters are responsible.
  • Major Repairs: Must be reported immediately.
  • Payment signifies acceptance of all self-drive terms in the Service Level Agreement.
  • Identity verification must be completed 48 hours after payment.
  • Vehicles must be used only within the geographical limits defined in the agreement. Breaches may result in forfeiture of any caution fee or balance.

Acceptance of Terms

By making a partial or full payment, the customer agrees to all Car Hire Lagos Terms and Conditions. Payment is considered as full acceptance of all service obligations, policies, and liabilities. For clarification, please contact our support team.
